Who Are We?

The Red Oaks School has a long history of participation in Model United Nations conferences; our students were among the first to attend the Montessori Model United Nations conference in Manhattan.  ROS students, well-prepared by the International Baccalaureate curriculum at the Middle School, participated in this conference for many years, often winning awards.  When COVID-19 interrupted in-person activities, ROS began exploring additional conferences.  Since spring 2022, ROS students have participated in several different MUN conferences and have won awards at every middle-school conference attended by our students.  In spring 2023, the ROS team also won the Outstanding Small Delegation Award at the Junior Academy Model United Nations conference in Hackensack.
